What is downloaded and what stays private?
Qwen2.5-0.5B-Instruct Q5_K_M (about 525 MB) or Qwen2.5-1.5B-Instruct Q4_K_M (about 1.12 GB), official GGUF exports (Apache 2.0). The existing wllama 3.6.1 and 2.3.7 runtimes remain pinned (MIT). Only one model runs at a time. Each requests 1,536 context tokens, with one memory-allocation fallback at 768 tokens. The runtime and model revisions are pinned; the first complete model download is SHA-256 verified. AI becomes ready only after the model produces usable text through its chat-formatting path. Public downloads come from Hugging Face and jsDelivr, which see ordinary asset requests. Conversation text is processed in a worker on this device, not sent to an inference service. Notes, Feedback, attachments and passkey records are excluded. The model is streamed to this site’s private browser file storage and reused when its verified entry remains. The loader never assembles the entire download into a JavaScript ArrayBuffer. Browser eviction can require another download. A failure does not silently switch models or start a different download. You can select the standard model yourself. No paid AI service is connected. AI uses memory and battery. Microphone recognition is separate and retains its existing consent choices.
